Game Summary 02/06/2010
While on a night job guarding a warehouse, the Sigmarite priest Gasmic overhears plans dubious from two strange thieves. Gasmic and his friends were unable to apprehend the perilous pair, but gained some information worth looking into. The group’s investigation lead them to a small village a day’s ride away from the city. A tree important to wood elf and man is showing the taint of Chaos. After the wood elves severed ties with the villagers, they decided that the tree needed to be removed lest it spread its Chaos taint to the people of the village. The group tried in vain to gain extra time to investigate but in the end, it was decided the tree be pulled out of the ground. The group decided to assist the villagers to remove the tree. When the tree toppled, it exposed a hole in the ground from which sprung 4 large, disgusting rats. The group dispatched the rats with relative ease only taking a couple minor injuries. Now faced with the prospect of a tunnel into the unknown, the group must decide what they will do next.
